Provided guidance and support for travel plans with over 15 clients including: NHS Tayside, Dundee City Council, The University of Dundee and Scottish Enterprise.

Managed several events including external and internal: Dundee Travel Active weekend event; Perth and Kinross Council Active Travel Information event and the Scottish Showcase conference

Site Assessments

Conducted traffic and travel site assessments for several organisations including large scale (Ninewells Hospital Dundee) and small (Braeport Centre Dunblane).

Stakeholder engagement

Conducted stakeholder engagement in the form of Regional Transport Strategy consultation as well as targeted focus groups.


Developed and provided guidance for several strategies including: Regional Transport Strategy; Travel Planning Strategy Guidance (Scottish Government); Active Travel Strategies (local authorities) and Marketing Strategy with associated Action Plan (Transition University of St Andrews).


Merry Scott has worked with a variety of clients over her 14 year career in Travel Planning. She has provided bespoke advice to both large and small businesses, charities, community trusts, town centre managers, local, regional and national governments, universities and colleges, health boards, event managers and community groups.
